Pure was host to more than paintings and sculpture. It was also a home for the performing arts. A monthly poetry event, PurePoetry, happened on the second Wednesday of the month and features poetry that runs the gamut from page to performance, language to sonnets. PurePoetry was home to some of the most exciting and interesting poetry happening in North America today. Pure was also home to the best in monologues, music, theatre and video, all in our 50 person capacity space warmed by a kiva and under the watchful eye of beautiful contemporary art pieces.
